FAQ
What is gelatin printmaking (aka Gelli printing)?
A fast, playful monoprint process using a soft gel plate, acrylic paint, and textures (stencils, botanicals, found objects). You roll paint, pull a print, and layer—no press or drawing skills required.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope. Everything is provided. Wear paint-friendly clothing (aprons available). If you’d like, bring flat leaves, lace, or paper scraps to experiment.
Will I finish a project?
Yes. You’ll leave with a coordinated mini-series (cards, collage papers, or a ready-to-frame print). We’ll help you curate 1–3 final pieces.
Can you host at our venue?
Yes. We can pop-up at offices, cafés, libraries, and community centers. We just need sturdy tables and floors that can handle a few paint drops.
Is it messy?
It’s delightfully hands-on but controlled. We use water-based acrylics and protect surfaces. Quick set-up and easy clean-up are part of the service.
