I'm Maia Rachel, an artist, designer, and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I'm a mixed media artist and surface designer specializing in mono-printing, paper collage, hand-lettering, and repeat pattern design. With a background in graphic design and teaching, I enjoy drawing on these experiences by incorporating uplifting and motivational themes and messaging, as well as using bold, eye-catching colors and a knack for composition and layout.
In my art practice, I utilize both analog and digital techniques, as well as hand-made textures, repeated patterns and shapes, and decorative embellishments. I am passionate about creating artwork that inspires others to dream big and be true to themselves.
